Almost sounds like this Travolta flick years later, where he plays a
sound guy out at night, recording special effects sounds, when he
stumbles upon a car accident which turns out to be somewhat mysterious.
Combining the recorded audio and a series of stills found later, reveals
the mystery for what it is. Good end.
