It just ought to be time to upgrade to a new newsreader softy then ?
I'd say that most, close to all posting softwares post using yEnc
because it reduce the number of bytes that needs to be transfer
between the machines.
In fact, I tried to find the oldest version version of "PowerPost" on
the usenets as well as on the web and it doesn't exist anymore.
And when I post replies of download any large files, I use a
registered Agent Newreader software.
I remember that the previous Agent version allowed to DL and post as
yENC or not but anymore. I already looked in thhe tool box.
Not yENC is something of the past.
Many if not most usenet softwares use yENC by default.
For once, buying a registered version version of Agent Newsreader may
well be worthwhile. I think the free version cannot read yENC.
Many other readeers do read yENC.
