The problem is if a download doesn't come down smoothly and you dnn't
want to download any recovery PAR2 files if you don't ened to.
Create a dummy newsgroup server with a name something like
"z do nothing" and no server name. Now click on an NZB file and
have the list of, usually, RAR and Par2 files like you usually would.
Download the smallest PAR2 immediately and click on it in Windows
Explorer so QuickPar can analyze all the files.
Now, change all but the the smallest PAR2 recovery files to use that z
do nothing server. L:et Grabit download all the RAR files and
QuickPar to verify the files.
Now if the download of the RAR files completes normally then delete
all the PAR2 files from within Grabit and click on the Repair and
Extract button.
But if the RAR files don't all come down smoothly you can just right
click the correct numbr of PAR2 files and change them to download from
your news server of choice. Then QuickPar will fix things up.
The only downsiide is that Grabit won't Extract the files until you go
back and remove all the "held" PAR2 recovery files from the list of
files to download.
