Thanks to EG for keeping everyone updated and to those of you who
expressed concern by offering your comments...
Well, here I am... still no system. I finally broke down and put Agent
on my laptop, just to see what was happening here... All my good ABMEA
files are on my RAID arrays, only accessible from my desktop system
which remains DOA. I have an appointment in a few hours with a
Microsoft Level II tech as the Level I guy ran out of ideas. I have
ordered a new hard drive for my system as I feel I know what the
inevitable answer will be. Arrrgh!
Please know that I am alive and well and able to take nourishment, but
really pissed off at Microsoft... but I cannot afford to go back to
the other side at this time in my life. Besides, if I did, I would
lose about 15TB of stuff. Not acceptable in my book.
My guess is that I will be back in a few days at the minimum -- or two
to three weeks at the outside. Sadly, I have other responsibilities
other than to just myself.
