In those days I was pretty much a lurker. I didn't start posting until
I got fixed wireless internet with the blazing 200 to 400k speeds
depending on who all in town was using it. That was around 2000 or
2001.
From what I remember usenet has been dying since before then...
I think we are just in one of those slow times right now.
