I really haven't used 7-Zip so not sure I'm really qualified to answer
that. As far as I can tell 7-Zip doesn't handle the RAR5 format at
this point so if more posters go that route winrar is about your only
option to extract those files. In my opinion that tips the scale to
winrar.
