Thanks ofr the offer to help. i appreciate it, i am around 75% back to
normal. I forgot that i did the "free" Microsoft upgrade from Win7
Pro to Win10 Pro, so i did not have DVD to restore windows. After much
searching on my "spare" computer, i found the procedure on microsofts
website -download windows 10 build to a USB stick, acces the microsoft
account that was created when i did the free uplift, request the
passowrd because i forgot it, and rebuild...yea!
bad stuff - trying to find/reinstall the apps that i use
Thankfully - i had most of my data backed up to a USB drive
good stuff- my system appears faster, because i no longer have
installed apps from a century ago that i no longer use
A few more dyas and i should be back to normal
