You'll see the suggested posting programs for linux and Mac. Unison is
listed by the way. Take a look at their suggestions, I think it would
be worth your time.
Perhaps you can configure that to connect to the easynews secure
servers as well. That way you wouldn't be using port 119, that might
just increase your posting speed.
