Hi all. When I use Handbrake 1.0.7 to convert 1920x1080 videos down to 720x406
(or even any other dimension), 90% of the time a high pitch squiggly sounds get
inserted into most of the audio. It's really annoying. I'm sure it's just one
lossy audio format (seems to be AAC) being converted elsewhere that is causing
this.
I've tried several different presets and nothing helps. I've tried playing with
the Audio tab and I believe setting it to MP3 and 320 solves it, but I cannot
save this as a Default and even if I save it as a Preset it doesn't retain the
settings...it goes back to AAC and 160. All the file formats I am converting
are .MP4 and being converted to M4V.
Can anyone shed light on this issue? I'm hoping there is a simple, global fix
because I like to batch the videos up for conversion. If my converted videos
are 25% bigger I don't care...they are still far smaller than 1920x1080. :)
Thanks so much in advance!
