I've been looking for this series for a very long time. My computer
downloaded it last night and we'll watch it tonight, after I finishing
working outside and my wife finishes watching the shows she like. (I
took a break from downloading gxs' excellent uploads to download your
post.)
I already found a promising recipe, on the series website, that may end
my decades-long search for a Swedish meatballs recipe that recaptures
my memories of that offered by the smorgasbord in Bemidji, Minnesota,
in the late 60's.
I also noticed your sushi post and will download it. While I've made
chef-quality sushi myself, it's not something that's high on my list.
I tend to order kappa maki when it's available, and trust the
restaurant. However, my tastes in that cuisine leans towards miso,
tempura (a somewhat difficult dish I usually order rather than try to
make), okonomiyaki, tamagoyaki, tonkatsu, omuraisu, udon, and
yakisoba. (My wife's been experimenting with a form of Japanese-Korean
fusion.)
