Okay, so far so good, but will this solve the problem?
Well, the solution seems to depend on the nature of the
problem.
Different stations have the option to broadcast (whether OTA
or otherwise) as copy-protected or not. The movie chanels
obviously copy protect their content. The networks (CBS, PBS,
&c) usually do not.
I simply don't know if Create has changed it's policy and is
now protecting it's content, and, if so, whether WGBX will
follow suit.
It might also be a hardware issue. Although, I doubt it, since
the same hardware is still working on the main PBS station.
SnS, you might try recording short segments on other stations
to see how widespread the issue is.
I suppose it could be a software issue. SnS, had you upgraded
your OS just prior to your experiencing problems?
It would certainly help if we can narrow down the problem.
