 Hello Casey

It was the first time I've ever posted a file to a usenet group so I
didn't initially know what to do.

Agent was having none of it (timeouts), even though it lets me post
messages without attachments. I started to see if I could fix that,
then had a quick search and found EasyPost. It worked right out of the
box, and that's what I used here.

Point taken about file size reduction. I noticed it only chopped a few
 megs off the files.

Thanks for the tip about Quickpar. I used it to create the PAR files
here, but I didn't realise it could do what you just suggested - I
zipped the files and split them using 7-ZIP (10M chunks), then created
the PARs separately. Dumb amateurs, eh? :)

 Rutger
