A little background. As I explained some time ago, a friend with whom
I have shared my catalog, wants to catch up on all he feels he has
missed over the years :-)
So we have a kind of arrangement. Each week he draws up a list of
requests that I can post during that week.
Seeing the nearly zero reaction I get to my posts I have to admit that
I don't really check too much if an item has already been posted
before or not.
And when he selects an old LP as in the case of the Gloucester
Cathedral post, I use the CD I might already have of a rip I made for
myself, in some cases years earlier.
So what I think has occurred here is that the LP might have had some
kind of warp which led me to skip the first seconds or minutes because
they were really bad.
I had noticed the tracklist which began with the Cathedral; bells of
Spoleto which did not figure on my CD.
I was wondering why and you have brought the answer.
Sorry for that, and for you who is about the only one, save my friend,
who seems to care for my posts.
