My dad was an early adopter. He brought this big Electrohome TV home one day, big piece of furniture, mahogany
cabinet with two doors that could be closed to hide the screen, and three speakers covered by a grill under the
Picture tube. Sound was good (FM) I believe there was a strict edict (at least for the first month or so) against us
kids touching it, but after a while, dragging mum or dad out of bed on a Saturday morning to dial in the cartoons and
other shows led to an easing of the restrictions. I was about 3 when Fury started, and I don't think I ever missed an
episode. The details however, have kind of gotten a bit foggy over the several months that have passed since 1955.
I took a look at that group of 23 episodes DVD cover, seems that are quite afew overlaps, with a few I notice are
different. I found the JPG and the NOF file OK but I am unable to find that post with the video files however. I
tried clearing my cache and reloading 2,000,000 old headers on Astraweb, but no dice. Will try again with my backup
new feed and see if they still have it.
I fear usenet is about to flame out as there is hardly anything left any more. I was really glad to find your
treasure trove when you started posting it. If I remember correctly, you are also getting ready to leave the usenet
scene as well.
In any case, I will be awaiting your post... Thanks again
Pops
