After receiving bad news from a fertility doctor, Cindy and Jim Green try to
bury their dreams of having a child by writing out all the great traits their
child would have had and putting them in a box in the garden. During a freak
storm in the middle of the night, they awake to find a boy named Timothy,

Cindy and Jim are thrown into the midst of parenthood and over the coming

It's been eons since I last shared this with y'all (waaay back on The Wild
Boys Forum!), and since I just sold the physical discs and packaged them up
to be shipped out to their new owner, tomorrow, I figured I'd better get them
posted here!
This is at once an (almost) wonderful film, yet also a complete disappoint-
ment. It had *so much* potential, but was totally fumbled by the producers.
It could aptly be titled "The Odd Life of Timothy Green's PARENTS," by the
inordinate amount of focus that was put on them, instead of the title char-
acter. Add to that a few unfinished or incomplete storylines, and you have a
movie that while enjoyable, left me feeling very unsatisfied in the end.
Trying not to open any spoilers here, for those who may not have seen the
film, yet, but the ending was done badly in my mind, not only in the abrupt
and totally unceremonious way in which Timothy left, but also what happens
at the very end -- something that completely ruled out there being a sequel,
which, had they handled the end correctly, could have been a very real possi-
bility.
I love the music (and actually bought the soundtrack!), even though it is one
of those that repeats the main motif over and over. I listen to it quite
frequently, even now, six years after the movie came out :)
