What Can You Give A Kid Who Has Everything? A Life.
Being On The Run Has Never Been So Much Fun!
Get ready for fun on the run with this touching tale of two clumsy crooks and
the precocious kid who'll set them straight! This "amiable family entertain-

and then steal it!
Two ex-cons, Harry Banner and Roy Walls, execute a robbery they think will
net them $250,000.00. But when they discover the safe is empty, Roy decides
to kidnap Gary Feldman, the 8-year-old son of their victim.
Little red-headed Gary has been left home alone by his parents one too many
times, his father caring more for money and flirtatious affairs than for the
care and welfare of his son, and his hypochondriac mother has told the boy he
is allergic to everything, keeping the lad from having a pet, going anywhere
or doing much of anything. The boy is even home schooled and therefore has
no friends his own age.
So when the bumbling burglars decide to kidnap Gary and hold him for ransom,
he thinks it's the adventure of a lifetime! When frustrated Roy wants to
hurt and later kill the boy, Harry protects and then runs off with the kid,
leaving Roy tied up.
Refusing to give up this exciting new life for an empty estate, Gary per-
suades kindhearted Harry to take him with him on his escape to Mexico! Roy
chotic-- he comes after Harry and the boy, seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Gary
has formed a strong attachment to Harry and the two have a wild adventure and
wind up hiding out at a motel owned by a former 60's flower child.
She falls for Harry and wants to help him escape the law. But then trouble
comes from all directions and our unlikely odd couple must outrun Roy, the
police, and the FBI... or face life sentences in their own personal prisons!

I absolutely love this little movie! I've watched it at least twelve times
so far, and fully intend another 12 or more viewings before I croak!
Amd Alex Zuckerman just crawled up into my heart and took up residence there.
I unashamedly fell in love with that little carrot-top Cutie from the first
frame he was in :love:
I've only seen him in one other production, "Blank Check," where he played
"Butch," a 'bad-guy,' but even in that role, the mirth and mischief could be
seen in his eyes...
