Well, I appreciate knowing that it wasn't just me, and you may have
saved me a few dollars since such a glitch is most likely a
manufacturing error and I'd have the same trouble regardless.
I had something similar happen with the Complete Red Dwarf box set I
bought a couple of years ago. Season six's episode disk played 3 of
the 6 episodes, then a bunch of garbled crap. The store I bought it at
replaced the set, but didn't check, and sure enough, same disk, same
problem. And the buggers wouldn't refund my money, they'd only give
"store credit" like that helps.
