I would think to. Perhaps you can then just hit up YouTube for a
trailer, download it and put that up. Or even just put up the link to
the trailer. People obviously have Internet to get the posts, so they
can click on a link and see if they want the post. Up to you.

Not that you asked ;o), but for myself, there's a point of dimishing
returns. I totally agree that the new HD movies are miles ahead of
the old ones. That having been said, one must consider storage space.
In spite of hard drives being relatively inexpensive, there's a big
difference between storing a hundred 1GB mkv file and 100 4.5TB DVD
rip. Or how about 500 of them?
Equally relevant(to me) is whether most of us can see any difference
in video qualit between the two. I have a 23" monitor and they both
seem pretty good to me. For folks who play these on a 60" display,
the difference is probably more pronounced, but I have to wonder how
many of us are using a display that large or even close to it.
Don't get me wrong, I am not dissing your efforts, only raising the
question whether it would make more sense (and be easier) to convert
the DVD rip to an mkv and save upload time as well as storage time.
