I probably use a different program than most others, Usenet Explorer. It reads
and posts. When posting I simply fill in the values like "Author" with
whatever I like.
Its not as much a concern, but the news server I use, Giganews, also allows
encrypted connections, so someone looking at my IP connections's stream would
be unable to see what kind of data it was.
I assume both are pretty typical. There are various IP hiding services, I use
Hide.me when I do Torrent, since my connection to Giganews is encrypted, I
don't think this is necessary.
I never heard of a poster getting busted, don't guess that's impossible tho.
If anybody smarter than me (an easy thing) has better insight, please let us
all know.
Enjoy, Freddie
