abook.ws is an audiobook website (a sort of club for members) which uses Usenet
to store its books.
You can access the Usenet group freely but you will find that most of its book
titles are encoded - changed to disguise them.
However if you go to the website and plead with the owner, Buck, he may let you
join, especially if you can get someone who knows you to sponsor your
application. There are no charges and the site is quite safe. He asks for
contributions of course for website maintenance is not cheap.
