I assume that by 'why' (or 'WHY' as you put it) you are wondering what
inappropriate content I alluded to.
Well, I'm alluding to mass posting of spam, viruses, child porn etc. The
sort of people who post that stuff don't care where. What better place to
hide from the watchers than in a totally off-topic group. TV groups,
music groups, they just peddle their sick filth wherever they can reach
like-minded souls or ruin things for the unwary. Maybe you don't have a
problem with that, I do.
So, I repeat the same thing as last time. Somebody asked a question about
rars and I gave them the pointer. Some people came back and said thank
you. Even if I've made a few people aware and safer then a good job done.
I always thought this a friendly group, even had a go at trying to help
out with fills where I can. Now I realise I was wrong and there is a
hidden hierarchy. I clearly need to ask your permission to do anything
and, if you don't like it then, being the elected voice of reason and you
will use sarcasm and Caps Locks to prove your superior intelligence.
I was going to put a request in to see if anybody had the original 'Mapp
& Lucia" by E F Benson but what's the point. You'd probably tell me you
don't like the author or that my taste in books is crap. Actually, it is
for my mother. But, hey, who cares, you would probably criticise her too.
Try looking up the word tolerance*.
