He doesn't sound like a genuine troll. Just inconsiderate and
self-interested (though he manages to croak out a grudging "thank you"
at the end there). The irksome thing, which makes him representative
of the new Usenet, is his sense of entitlement -- that he ought to get
exactly what he wants, while contributing nothing. And then
complaining when you ignore him!
After all "If you really want to [give him what he wants] you'll find a
way. ;-)" And you KNOW you really want to.
