Four tracks of abstract techno or call it
hypergalactic jazz, which involve paradroid`s &
kein zweiter`s molecular sounds and soundeffects,
which intensify the grooves, that you must think at
the end, the sounds are the groove themselves. the
groves are earthy and deep and the music is moving
forward like whirling sequences.
keinzweiter and paradroid from mainz/ germany got
last year in contact with french producers le k and
nice.
le k, aka sylvain garcia, 28 years old, is a
musician/producer/dj from perpignan, south of
france. he produces and writes a music especially
dedicated to dance, focussing on groove in the
direct line of the weird, tormented, house and
techno productions that he ussually affectionates
(ark, matthew herbert, matthew dear, cristian
vogel, dave aju, the labels circus
company, boogizm, spectral, proptronix, karat,
milles plateaux, palette)
in 1995, nice goes into acousmatics at the
conservatory of nice. he will eventually slowly
drift away towards this musical form that he finds
more genious and spiritual. in 1998, he heads to
perpignan in order to improve his level in
acousmatics. after lessons, he hangs around with
the people from the local electronic. in 1999,
recordings and compiled by derrick l. carter. then,
he released several maxis under the name of
babydoll with enjoy records and wrong step
recordings labels. on the dark side, few materials,
hardtek and breakbeat came out in 2002 on the
labels balistik and cyanoge`ne.
