Hird is back! The 23 year old Grammy nominee
Christoffer Berg finally returns with an EP where
some friends, colleagues and him self have remixed
tracks from his critically acclaimed debut album
diversity as the musicianship of Hird. Starting of
with the Chrix the Mix remix, one of the many
aliases of Christoffer himself, and this track sets
uptempo jazz smoker of his debut anthem Keep you
Kimi aimed straight for the dancefloors. Next up is
Darimont, the well respected DJ behind the
Metronomic Community/Nights, and his long time
friend David Alexander. Both originally from
Brussels. Already having done one great remix of
Sandboys Lua Nua (Hinterland Records) the team does
us that they are well worth keeping an eye on in
John Kong needs no further introduction for people
who have been following the jazz oriented club
music scene in the last years. Releasing great
music and delivering dope remixes for labels such
as Raw Fusion. The remix of the beautiful second
John Kong together with Alister Johnson
re-arranging it all and out comes on of the
must-have tracks for summer 2005. Finishing off
this EP is the much talented and hyped Gothenburg
strange, dark and obscure tune and we like it a
lot! Pitching down the voice of Yukimi, making it
the perfect apocalyptic finishing of this EP and it
makes you want to flip that vinyl around and play
it through again and again.

it. We did so too. Remember to support the creators of this!
BeatForge was first established back in the early 90s.
Together with RNS we started the hype of mp3. During the
following years BeatForge was the most successful electronic
releasing crew around, but after several splits, the group was
finally closed in the late 90s. Many of the older groups
today have their origin from us.
But now, 6 years later, the legend returns. We are back to
give you the best quality in electronic music as we used to do.
Our main attention is providing you music we love and to live
the old well-known friendly atmosphere within the scene which
is hard to find nowadays. We dont want to fight other scene-
groups - thats the job of the fbi.
Last but not least: We do NOT support any way of making
profit out of the scene. Remember and respect the artists
of our beloved music. We are against all p2p networks and
public spreading of our work!
