Thanks, ots. This is a valuable piece of arcana. Many of the early LS
sites were blocked from the 'Wayback Machine' by robots.txt files.
Natural-angels.com was one of them.
For others, it's like pulling teeth to get what you need from the
library. Some sites like home-lolita.com just do not have all the
slices of the main page intact and complete reconstruction of the
earlier incarnations of the site becomes impossible.
Some countries now block access to the wayback machine library as far as
child pornography goes, so it's just a matter of time before LS gets
blocked too.
For archivist who are unfamiliar with the internet archive (Wayback
Machine), it is a library of snapshots of the entire internet taken in 2
month intervals since 1996. This library is uncensored. So far they
have successfully resisted all efforts at censorship, or requests from
LEA for log files. They have not been forced to turn over information
on any user. However, I *strongly* recommend accessing the library thru
Tor.
A sample URL that will return everything on a particular site is:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/video-angels.com/*
The first asterisk is 'any date', the second is 'any content'. Change
the site from video-angels.com to whichever site you want to archive.
