Does anybody know what program was used to postprocess LS Magazine
videos (and possibly other LS videos)? For example, lsm02-08-01.avi
has a chunk with the following information:
"VirtualDub build 13870/release"
But it also has the following structure of movi chunk:
[LIST movi 49874680]: Audio/Video Data
[01wb 3132]: audio data
[00dc 6914]: video data
[01wb 338]: audio data
[01wb 334]: audio data
[00dc 2604]: video data
[01wb 172]: audio data
[00dc 8]: video data
[00dc 2848]: video data
[01wb 334]: audio data
[00dc 8]: video data
[01wb 338]: audio data
[00dc 2810]: video data
[01wb 166]: audio data
...
Firstly, we can see that audio segments have different sizes.
Secondly, audio and video segments are not strictly interleaved.
Build 13870 of VirtualDub cannot create such avi files. And any other
VirtualDub build or mod too. I tried many of them. As a minimum each
of them writes it's own name and version to the saved avi file.
If we just open lsm02-08-01.avi in VirtualDub build 13870 and save it
as direct stream copy without any full processing, we will get a
different structure of movi chunk.
