Thank you rippedagent for your info regarding 7Zip. I had never
thought to use that to join files (or, rather, extract files from an
.001 file, as you suggested with ibu's first post) and harry potter
for your pointing to the Filejoin program. It worked a treat with no
renaming necessary. Both new useful tools in the armory!!
