Do you ever remember the old days with some fantastic very helpful and
friendly people who posted for years?
The likes of Peter Pan, KH, BoyFan, PM to name but a few.
Posters who helped, coached and went out of their way to make sure that
both newbies and others understood things and took things slowly, Most of
the stuff posted today, presumably, as we cant get at it, is what they
posted originally, and all these attitudes of superiority as if they are
gods gift to the usenet is now so totally regretted, but seems that there
are those who appear to have placed themselves on an undeserved pedestal.
Of course security is necessary, but should be standardised. Keys in
containers which do not open, pws probably mis-typed and therefore
unworkable to name a couple.
Well, back to my lurking and having a good laugh at the efforts and conceit
of the present posters.
