I think I've seen this problem before.
The password works, to get to the keyfiles (confirmed).
But something else is happening here with ILSYB's posts. With Jimmys
posts, you were able to download say just 10 RAR files just to get a
preview of the entire 4 GIG post instead of having to DL the entire
thing just to see whats included. Win RAR would still process the
partial files (I used to select the first 10), then it would create
the partial volume file which TC would still open then show the entire
volumes filenames (filenames, but not openable files). This always
worked with Jimmys posts just to see the filenames of the entire post
without DL'ing all.
This is not happening with ILSYB's posts. Also seen with other
posters.
When you attempt to do so with the first 10 RAR files, TC will finally
mount the container after a LONG long wait, then when you try to open
the container, TC throws up an error :
"the file or directory is corrupt or unreadable".
It is possible that we will have to wait for the entire post & use the
PAR files for archive recovery then see if it will work then.
And I'm here to tell you that if that particular Spongebob vid is
in there, the extra wait will be worth it........who knows, maybe the
whole set will be there, but don't get your hopes up if it's just
French vids. (just put your hands up & surrender....). Sorry, just an
old joke...
So, my question is :
Has anyone got this ILSYB container to open yet with only using just
some of the set (like the first 50) just to get past the error message
that TC shows?
