I don't even know where to start here, since I will just probably be
branded as "another asshole". No problem, as it usually can be
translated as "someone who did their fucking homework and actually
figured it out themself like most in this group concerned with
security and keeping a low profile" (thank you).
Well, here goes -
First you post on 12/27 to the subject of "can someone help pls",
requesting "instructions to be sent to you via e-mail". (first
mistake).
Then on the same date 11 minutes later (on my server) someone replies
to you with the following:
"All of jimmy's posts are protected using TrueCrypt you will need this
program plus the key files to open them. All the info is there you
will have
to look for it.Everyone else will say the same this is to protect all
posters good luck".
And on 10/28 I also see another reply which is similar to above.
Then of course on the 29th when there was posted "a bunch of old
pictures in gif" form posted by poster 'bob', who at this point 'bob'
realizes what he has done....
(but you still had no clue).
Then on the 30th, you post the epic post "why is everybody over
reacting here", claiming that no one e-mailed you back (mistake time
again). Then you actually "salute" bob for "helping the newbies"....
(Probably a different "salute" than most of us would have given.)
BUT THEN today it gets even better, and maybe if you read what you
posted here you too will laugh your ass off :

So, go ahead and be a hero & "salute" bob, although bob is at least
more apologetic at this point than you are.

So, it's nice that some of us decided to read the suggestions given
by posters in the past referring to finding specific posts, & specific
dates, & specific whatever... in learning TrueCrypt and keyfiles (yes,
those darn GIF's of old buildings), instead of just asking that
everything be sent to you at some e-mail address?. Let alone that fact
that many of them have shitty newsgroup providers, or think that this
is some fucking Facebook or Twitter account or something...
(0 friends).
I have not yet requested anyone to send ANYTHING to me via e-mail in
any of these groups.
Some of these groups require a shitload of reading and to realize
what content you are dealing with. Other posters have also said the
same, but who wants to listen to all this crap when the people that
really need to read it do not and just ignore it all.
Yes, it's true that the "authorities" are also accessing the same
material, although they also have the brains to read posts and figure
out all the clues how to access the posts, JUST LIKE THE REST OF US.
What the "authorities" DO NOT like is someone posting this material in
plain sight or made so easy to access that anyone (or newbies that
don't want to learn) can download. The ISP's & Newsgroup providers
also probably frown more upon the posts being more easily accessible.
Remember the key words here, 'LOW PROFILE' and 'SECURITY'.
