<I have imported the DeDRM tool into Calibre. Calibre is telling me the book is
<in azw format. Trying to convert the book to epub gives a Calibre message saying
<t is DRMd!
<Any thoughts would be most appreciated. I'm a bit new to all this.

Thanks TS for reminding me of the plugin.
I got it to work. However I've only tried it so far with azw3 books from a known Kindle.
The guide tells me to enter the Kindle s/no into the ebook configuration - which I have done.
Then it worked - once I'd noticed the instruction that the DRM is applied when IMPORTING the file so if it's already in Calibre, remove and import again.
So, I don't yet know how to manage with azw3s from an unknown source. I've got some somewhere to try soon.
