More than a bit belated, but I wanted to get back and apologize for my
invective, I misunderstood the thrust of your original comment and
apparently I was in a bad mood at the time. I'm sorry I was nasty
about it.
I remember what you mean, about the extreme breadth of the information
available, but at that time we had so many people contributing
regularly from so many different disciplines that it added up to an
enormously varied listing at a massive rate. I never did more than
mostly repost, I didn't have much of anything new to post, especially
as compared with most others.
Today we primarily have Psychopath picking up in place of a whole army
of posters, and however much he posts, he can only do so much. I'm
eternally grateful to him for what he posts, I find something at least
interesting anytime he posts in here, and he has a pretty busy posting
schedule elsewhere as well.
So, I'm especially grateful that Psychopath finds the time to cast
around and get new stuff to post and I get very irritated when I feel
that his efforts are being insulted. I'm sorry I didn't read and
consider your post more carefully before I posted my original reply to
you.
