This is the second of two discs* from the 2014 Vinegar Syndrome re-issue of Dracula Sucks.

*This disc is a bit over 5 GB, i.e. larger than a DVD-5
Disc 2 includes a 74-minute alternate 'Lust at First Bite' version of the movie, the original
theatrical trailer (3 min), a featurette "Return to Castle Ranch" with writer/actor/co-
director Bill Margold and producer Darryl Marshak (22 min), and a slideshow of German
lobby cards (nice artwork).
This alternate version of the movie includes more hardcore footage than the director's cut,
but has almost none of the blood, death and violence. This vid is missing some of
the non-sex storyline, and is haphazardly edited, making the plot difficult to follow.
As with disc 1, this version is restored from the 35mm negative at 2k HD transfer, in 16:9
anamorphic (widescreen 1.85:1 AR) and looks very sharp with true colors. There are
minor glitches from film damage that have not been fixed, but overall the quality is
excellent.
Processed in PgcEdit to rebuild time maps and skip the usual warnings.

Dracula's Bride supposedly was the initial version at 110 or 113 minutes. That may
not have seen any light of day beyond distributor previews or in a few theatres, if it
existed at all. Exhibitors would definitely have balked at 113 minutes, as they'd get
fewer showtimes and ticket sales, and the title sounded too old Hollywood or R rated.
It is, however, listed for other releases with shorter runtimes.
Dracula Sucks is what the Marskaks registered in '79, with a '78 creation date. That was
108 minutes, hardcore, played theatres, and was on early home video. It's often
considered the true uncut version and is the title most collectors use, but is only
available on the grey market. 88 minute soft and 78 minute hard versions were released
under that name, and the shorter xxx version would have made greedy theatre owners
happier than the longer one.
Lust at First Bite was a retitling to capitalize on the mainstream Love at First Bite spoof,
and was better for advertising in newspapers that would've refused Dracula Sucks as
too crass. This title was on both soft & hard video versions, and VCA's used it since '82.
91 minutes applies to VCA's earliest VHS releases. The length shrank over the years
due to content cuts, but VCA hasn't changed the box cover runtime, and it's unlikely
they'll release the full 108 or their old 92 minute versions anytime soon.
Missing from the original is mostly plot, plus some blood, violence, and golden shower
content.
