DSR vs WTCA.txt
...going back a ways...
In 2012 I stumbled on a Mike Hunter thing called "Der Sex[-]Reporter" (1974) that looked for all the world like a US release but I couldn't figure out what it actually was.
Turns out it was originally a very early Chuck Vincent softcore piece called "While the Cat's Away" (1972) that MH had 1) stripped off all the production-crew credits and 2) fuckified it with random hardcore scenes and fragments.
egafd.com eventually figured it out as well:

It's not clear if WTCA ever had a US theatrical release. IMDB lists only a Canadian release and a Dutch release (plus SWV later on, but not on their website now) and the production company was "Vincent Productions". I think it was something Vincent shot mostly for himself.
When I first watched it, before I knew anything about it, I was struck by how obvious it is that Vincent is exploring the art of movie making in it: how do you light a scene, what angles do you shoot from, how do you balance lighting when moving from indoors to outdoors... all of that. It's something you rarely see because good directors will want to make all that invisible as quickly as they can. Quite a nice little time capsule for a talented director.
Hunter hacked out enough of it to make room for him to turn it into wankfodder. Hey Mike, bite me.
So, here's a sample of Hunter's contribution to the betterment of mankind along with a bunchastuff that may be of interest to a few.
I'm posting it here because the discussion started here (and wasn't resolved).
