If woodyanders is right and the director of this one is the same John Hayes he wrote
the bio for, then this is interesting on a number of counts. (I needed help to
remember who Rue McClanahan was: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rue_McClanahan)
My read on it is that Hayes made good (as in Academy Award Nomination good) movies
for a long time and porn was just one of his many canvases.
It took a while for it to dawn on me that it's the available prints of this one that
suck, not the movie. After a lot of experimenting, I think I hit on a way to make it
closer to what it probably was to begin with.
