EXACTLY!!
I've been posting since 1999. Under quite a few nyms. Actually posted
more than 100 DVD's here under a different nym :). Used to converse
with CxL, Burley, Lec, Rocker, DKong and others - long story; another
life. Lost everything - all my DVD's save some I had in a storage
locker and others that were loaned out - again long story!
Well I'm back and trying to get my collection back (or some semblance
of it). Your posting of the DVD's frin your list that you started in
May 2014 has been a life saver for me - allowing me to catch up on all
my lost DVD's - THANK YOU!! Thank you.
Then you stopped in Jan of this year. I just have been going through
the threads and discovered why.
Allow me to share my experience with Giganews - they are great for
downloads; but don't post through them! I have been targeted by CC,
ATK, DFD, and others for my 'copyrighted' posts. Always through
Giganews. I changed nyms; used different credit cards, changed
providers; but Giganews always caught up with me and did the same
thing - either stop posting or we'll cancel your account.
I think it was BJtheDJ through a.b.n.female.bodyhair or
a.b.n.f.b.pubes; or it may have been someone in the pornstars.80s
group ... anyway - I bought a block account through AstraWEB

I bought a 180gb 1 time account about 3 years ago for $25. They keep
the account open until your download count goes to 0. You can post all
you want with no limit. They do sometimes follow DCMA takedowns from
the vendors and distributors - but they have never come after me!
So my suggestion would be keep Giganews for downloads and text posts;
but use Astraweb for posting all your binary posts. And actually some
of the really old stuff like the TLBS stuff that Donmaster posted is
all out there with Astraweb but not with Giganews - so go figure!
So whatever you decide to do ... I thank you with a 1000 thanks for
all your (re) posts of this groups uploads from 2003?? or 2004 to your
number 521 post. And your posting of the DVD list which was a
lifesaver on checking before a post to see if it had already been
posted.
I believe there are many more who would appreciate your coming back
