Thanks for the suggestions, Kraken. I do appreciate them.
I don't mean to be negative about everything, but I'm not
about to install things with zero confidence that
1. they'll solve the problem I'm trying to solve
2. they won't screw up what I already have
3. I can get rid of them completely
20 years of doing that was enough.
