I have this film dated 1974 but forgot why and how i came to this
date... iafd has a listing with release date of the film as 1976:

As mentioned in a discussion some time ago the first scene of this
film was shot in the bar/dinner "Line Up" on the corner of 7th Street
and Harrison Street in San Francisco. The place still exists as a
bar/dinner now named "Rumors SF Sports Lounge":

This capture has "rolling line" issues that are increasing during
final scene due to damage on the VHS tape. So far from perfect quality.
