Due to years of experience in this field, and access to many older Adult
features, we've helped a lot of people find their one special title, a
list of features that contain appearances by their favorite actor or
actress, or films that fit into categories of their special interests.
As you may already know, locating reliable information about Adult films
(or even performers names) is next to impossible. The scanty reference
materials that are available are, more often than not, inaccurate or
terribly incomplete. To compound the situation, most of the early
manufacturers or distributors of XXX films have long since gone out of
business. In many cases the same film was issued simultaneously by
different companies with completely different titles.
Endless searching on the Web, finding Adult sites overloaded with
advertising pop-ups, dead end links, and neverending scams for yearly
memberships, might increase your frustration (and your phone bill) but
rarely lead you to the specific answers you're seeking.
The period of time between 1975 and 1981 must be referred to as The
Golden Age of Adult Cinema. Prior to 1970 explicit movies were strictly
in the closet or under the counter items. They consisted mainly of 16mm
shorts (or loops) which eventually evolved into the 200 foot 8mm and
Super 8 films that many of us are familiar with. The legalization of
explicit films started a trickle of hard-core features (some of which
were loop-carriers). A lot of them were pretty crude, devoting much
footage to monster-shots (prolonged extreme close-ups of genitalia). By
the mid-70's the techniques began to improve, and many of the then-new
producers/directors had a true sense of competition going. Each wanting
to make a better, different, more expensive, or more raunchy picture.
The results were a series of films from this time period that even today
have, in many cases, not been equaled. These films are universally
regarded by collectors, reviewers, and fans, and they've become a
yardstick for evaluating all subsequent productions. True Classic
Erotica is timeless. This is probably the reason that eventually, most
serious Adult viewers wind up seeking out the Classics to experience or
re-experience their quality.
The fact that you've located us indicates that you are probably already
an XXX devotee, or well on your way to becoming one. You have more than
just a passing interest in a particular film or video, and have the
motivation to pursue it. By supplying all of the information that you
can remember about the specific film, we'll do everything possible to
obtain an answer or information regarding your quest. If you can,
roughly outline the plot or main scenarios, relate specific scenes or
action and the performers that they include, give physical descriptions
of the people if you're not sure who they are. Give names of the
producer, director, or film company if you know (or can find out) what
they are. Estimate the year that the film was made, or when you saw it
at a theater. This information will help to determine if the film, or
specific parts, has been reissued or re-released under different titles.
Any clues may be helpful. Due to the transient nature of numerous
unknown performers, Amateur videos will not be researched, and we don't
cover soft-core, R-Rated, or mainstream T&A features or performers.
Often collectors and fans are looking for an appearance by a favorite
performer, not necessarily the content of the film itself. Submit the
name of the performer, (or a clipping or picture) and we'll work on a
list of features that they've appeared in (many use numerous names). If
you're seeking a certain type of scene, or a special theme, include all
of the details that you can and we'll compile a list of titles that may
fit into your specific category.
Since currently the number of (findable) original prints has dropped
drastically, the prices of these collectibles have risen
proportionately. A handful of classic titles have been reissued (often
in edited forms) by major XXX manufacturers, but the majority are no
longer available in any form. The finders fees are based on the
difficulty of the search, and the time expended. Basic fee is $15 (which
covers many circumstances). Your prices are determined by our costs, and
the probable availability of the title. We will provide you with a quote
regarding the total the price and availability of the tape you're
interested in when you E-mail us with the details. Postage/Packing for
First Class Priority shipping normally comes to $5.00 for the first DVD,
plus $1.00 for each additional DVD. Please note: these postage rates
apply only to addresses within the United States - no foreign orders.
Our primary function is providing information, so you're under no
obligation to purchase tapes. We just try to make the titles that are
not available from other sources (usually rare, obscure, or out of
print) available to collectors when they're really stuck. If you do
