There are a number of interesting differences between this version and my
old VHS copy.
1. The old VHS version opens with the two girls walking across campus (same
background as the closing shot), then being picked up by the two guys in the
green van and taken to the beach, where they frolic around. The opening
music and credits are shown against the beach scene. The new download
version starts as they are returning from the beach and Debbie (the Nancy
Hoffman character) decides to get out of the van and walk.
I don't know why the original opening scene was deleted. It just makes the
film slightly shorter.
2. In the scene where they discover the stash of porn movies and then
project one, the compilation they look at is totally different in the two
versions. I don't recognise any of the actors in the VHS version (though
John Holmes and Serena [Linda Broome] are listed in the credits), whereas
the download version looks to be made of more recent clips - a bearded John
Leslie is one familiar face who appears.
Can't imagine why this was changed, unless there were copyright issues over
the original clips.
3. In the scene where the girls get it on with the two guys, in the download
version Debbie is briefly shown resisting as her partner tries to remove her
panties. In the old VHS version this is part of an extended scene where she
fights to keep her panties on and only reluctantly submits.
This scene was clearly censored for the usual reason - implications of
forced sex.
Many thanks to the poster, though - the download version is technically much
better than my ancient VHS copy, and I love anything with Nancy Hoffman.
