My notes
One of the all time best porn films ever made.
The opening scene with Nanci Suiter, Stacy Evans and Jamie Gillis is one of the hottest threeways I've seen.
Nanci -- who appears uncredited, although she is featured on the poster -- was a cult fave who appeared in just a handful of films.
Serena plays two roles as twin sisters, and in the poolside party scene we can see her appearing twice in the same frame (probably the only special effects in the film).
Serena and Gillis were lovers off screen and on, and their chemistry shows. Their S&M dungeon scene is fiery enough that even those who are not normally into rough sex can appreciate it.
Laurien Dominique gives one of her best performances, artistically and sexually. This is especially poignant, since she died of cancer before her 30th birthday.
Georgina Spelvin proves once again that a mature, older woman can be just as sexy as a Playboy centerfold.

I think I can shed some light about the question of the length of the film, as I have it both on tape, and on the newer dvd version which was brought out by Caballero. The DVD version is indeed a few minutes shorter than the tape, and this has nothing to do with compression. I noted at least two cuts in the dvd: 1) in the beginning of the film the introduction of the house scene is shortened where we see Desiree Cousteau wriggling and nearly standing on her head while she is being eaten out (very funny, by the way), and 2) there is a more serious cut nearly at the end of the film in an outdoor scene between Jamie Gillis and Serena. In the dvd version half of this scene is left out! This is incomprehensible as this is probably the hottest scene in the film. This is all the more regrettable as otherwise the dvd is quite good, with sharp images and unfaded colours. This classic however deserves the best treatment possible and this just isn't it.
