Yeah ... that was me who started this. I had planned to start it in late 2007,
but Chauncy pointed me to this new group (a.b.dvd.classic.movies) which I felt
had a lot of potential, so I spent 6 months helping Bugzzy get it up & running.
While I was doing that, I felt frustrated that I couldn't post anything after
1969, so then I started the a.b.dvd.classics group to handle all of my pent-up
frustrations.
Finally (a year later!), I got the Criterion group up & running. There seems to
be a fair amount of interest in it, so hopefully it will ultimately succeed.
Back to the first topic! So you spell CRiTERiON & JimB0ss that way
intentionally?
That would mean that you intentionally use the <period> instead of the <space>
in your headers as well?
I have nothing against being creative (just ask the rest of the folks around
here!), but adding the <period> in a filename just adds to its hierarchy and
should be avoided wherever possible.
Enough of my rambling ... I got 3 more Criterions to post! (I'll wait until
there is an opening: My bandwidth won't allow me to compete with you FiOS guys!)
Thanks for all you do,
Isis
