Hey there, Free Agent!

Long time no see )

>I still have a lot of questions myself about  d/l'g BD's -- like
>what's the best computer player to use.

Me likes Nero Showtime 4, and it completely satisfies everything I want from BDs when I
play them on computer.

>What programs to use to edit, compress, and burn, them also.

No idea -- never did that ) Even to think about shrinking them or rummaging in their
guts would be a sacrilege for me )

>And use a networked media player device to play them back to the HDTV.

Yep -- HD video card with a DVI/HDMI output that runs to HDTV.

>DL 50GB discs are still way overpriced at about $11-20 or more each.

Holy Jeebus, that's the mother of all rip-offs. Wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it.
You're definitely better off with 1.5-2 Tb hard drives.

J
