No one has told you what you can & cannot post.
In fact, you have broken no Usenet rules: .NFO & .NZB files are text files, and
as such, they cannot be OT in a binary group. It matters not whether they are
posted in MIME or Binary format.
Having said that, when the originator of a group politely informs you that this
kind of material is not appreciated, (and uses the word 'please'!), then it
should behoove you to accept that and simply comply.
