I doubt most "producers" of these films are nearly as interested in getting
"paid" as they are in being praised, or at least thanked.
They that post on usenet for the first time usually get them from other
sources second or third hand and are not the original posters.
When it comes to the producer of the "aard" films (with that incredibly
PERFECT blond star from Spongebob fame), I don't know what to say to him
other than "Wow. You have to be the luckiest guy in the world. Unless
these videos are coming from an evidence locker somewhere and you're in
jail."
Praise is what posters live on and they don't often get what they are due,
whether they are the first to post a file, or just the most recent. We
exist on a continuum of sorts. Some of us are just arriving on this scene
and have never seen some of the stuff many of us have seen so many times, we
don't really need to load the files anymore. Like the scene in Animal House
when John Belushi crushes the beercan on his head, I can easily visualise
the lip-biting boy in "RF#2_001PT1OF2.MPG" as he gets his rhythm going in
the shower with his buddy. Some have no idea what I mean by that because
they haven't seen it. How sad for them. Others know just what I mean.
So, if someone posts that video again soon, they are worthy of praise since
there are some, perhaps who are the same age as the lip-biting boy is now
(probably about 20 or 21), who will be seeing it for the first time. Just
think how they will be grateful.
