True in that case it wouldn't be. I'll take your word for it, maybe
get a couple tests done later. Could be things have changed, some
servers handle it differently, or I just got it wrong. I should have
double checked that first. In that case I'll correct the other post.

Got it. Agent has come a long way in the binary dept. and the NZBs are
a great help. I'd upgrade but the other software I've used for so long
really leaves nothing to be desired. If in need to make an NZB I can
do it with XNews. Mainly I use binsearch and rarely dl with this
reader from this group. I even took NewsBin for a test drive but it
was long ago.

I do understand that. Thanks much for your time and knowledgable
replies. Often this type of exchange isn't particularly productive. I
learned several things about NewsBin I've wondered about for a long
time. Hopefully it's answered some questions for others, too.
