I'm also on Astraweb, using the same reader as you.
I've just downloaded the files again and they did not automaticallly un-RAR.
I've attempted to use WinRAR on them and it finds them to be corrupted. I do not understand what you mean by "check them in Quickpar" as Quickpar is an application for creating PAR files - the only person who can check them with Quickpar is the person who created them using Quickpar - or so I've been told.
