If you've never looked at a report before you may be surprised by the
amount of info it provides. Also VirusTotal is one of several that
create a unique identifying hash for a file and share that with AV
companies and other interested parties to add to their definitions
list. They accept files up to 128MB.
Since these things constantly morph, uploading a fresh offering gives
everyone an early heads-up about the latest POS making the rounds.
