Yeah I check geek, grabbit, and planet doc sections regularly. Not
much BBC stuff, I think BBC is cracking down like Hollywood does.
I got hooked on BBC history stuff from when JC posted 'Time Team' with
Tony Robinson. About 14 seasons of digging up peoples back yards and
farm fields looking for Iron/Copper-Age, Roman, Viking, Norman, and
Elizabethan/Georgian/Victorian artifacts. I'd use google maps to zero
in on where they were digging. It was fun.
Then Spike and others posted more history stuff, walking tours of UK
back country, churches, victorian factories, and WW1 battlefields in
France/Belgium. There's 5000 years of human achievements there on that
tiny island compared to a couple hundred here in the colonies :) And
nobody here cares about history, not even our idiot president.
I can watch PBS stuff on TV here but depended on the docs groups to
get stuff from Britain.
Thanx for the nzb, I'll check it out.
