Discussion is what makes a Group strong, ES. This discussion is maybe going beyond
where the topic began, This is fine, maybe a new topic is more appropriate to
continue with some points you make, and more posters joining in?
Sewing discussion groups are well populated with good healthy discussion,
a good source for information on many topics. Posters giving up "blabber"
provide a good read :)

FAQ postings are often ignored with some Users objecting to the posts even. Regular
postings of updated FAQ articles proves useful for some groups but the whole of the
activity really depends on those who are able to help, with requests for help, having
access to a set file to post where the file answers the question.
I think this is what happens in this Group?
I do not intend any offence in saying the ABCP_miNi_FAQ_Rev777.pdf file posted
is way behind what is current for Usenet. The NZB observation you make is just
one thing the file does not even address. Modern trends are showing the optimum
solution to high speed groups is to use a binary search engine and build your own
personal NZB from your selection. Again, more work to do for the User but
nothing worth having is free of some work.
Modern FAQ files for binary groups could nominate at least one search engine.

A Poster has change in their Family or gets sick, goes on holidays and the posting
falls off the list.
It is normal for Users to feel someone owns the posting and therefore they will not
continue in the Poster's absence. You have found the exact problem with one person
posting FAQ files.
